Our player Ana Gomes has been selected to represent the Portugal Women’s U16 National Team at the prestigious Montaigu Tournament, taking place from March 25 to April 6 in France.

According to ZeroZero, the U16 National Team returns to international action in this highly regarded youth competition. Head coach Inês Aguiar has called up 22 players for this important stage, which will serve as another key step in the development of the young Portuguese squad.

During the tournament, Portugal will face strong international opponents. Their debut match is scheduled for March 30 against France, followed by Mexico on April 1 and Japan two days later. In addition to the group stage, the team will play a fourth match on April 5 against an opponent to be determined based on final group standings.
