GD “Os Vidreiros” is proud to announce that player Ana Gomes has been called up for the Portugal Women’s Under-16 National Team training camp, which took place from March 9 to 11, 2026, at the Cidade do Futebol.

Representing a club affiliated with the Leiria Football Association, Ana Gomes is part of the group of 24 players selected by National Coach Inês Aguiar for this preparation camp. During these three days, the Portuguese squad scheduled four training sessions as well as a practice match.

This call-up is a source of great pride for our club and a well-deserved recognition of Ana Gomes’ talent, commitment, and hard work. It also highlights the excellent work being carried out in women’s football at GD “Os Vidreiros”.

We warmly congratulate Ana on this important achievement and wish her every success while representing Portugal.
